Located below the Honour Courtyard, this impressive vaulted hall (50 m. x 20 m.) is divided into two naves by a row of five sturdy pillars, and lit up by long bay windows.

The eastern span was the forum of justice for the Holy Apostolic Palace, and the vaulted ceiling is decorated with a fresco of the Twelve Prophets, painted in 1325 by Matteo Giovannetti.
