The Cubiculaire was named after Bernard de Saint Etienne, the Pope's "cubiculaire" who lived here. It opens into the Conclave Gallery, one of the Palace's architectural masterpieces. Its beautiful Renaissance window overlooks the two turrets of the main façade of the Palace.
