Description

The program bears witness to the musical and literary references of this thinker of violence and the origin of culture.

To evoke the death of Christ, an innocent victim, two of the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross by Joseph Haydn will be interpreted. In reverse symmetry, the omnipotence of the eponymous hero will take place, through Wagner's symphonic poem Siegfried-Idyll. Next comes the creation of a work by Charly Mandon, entitled Concerto ritual for quartet and orchestra. We will discover the original power of music, that of initiating community unity through trance.

Music therefore being at the initiative of the collective phenomena of designation of the scapegoat, a musical and literary prologue will be declaimed, personifying this formidable force of musical art. As a tribute, Symphony No. 22, known as “The Philosopher” by Joseph Haydn, will finally be offered.
